A magical musical adventure for ages 6 - 11
The Magic Sweet Jar is a play for children aged 6-11 about a young girl who falls through a portal into a world made entirely of sweets. Filled with live music, puppets, homemade masks, and interactive storytelling, audiences are encouraged to help bring the story to life.
Underneath the fantasy is a gentle story about grief, feelings, and learning that there is strength in softness.
Created with support from The Marlowe Theatre, this imaginative new family show transforms simple objects into vast magical worlds right in front of your eyes. No screens, no high-tech wizardry, just imagination and play.
Join us for the laughter, wonder, and music, with a story children will carry home with them long after the show ends.

Hi! We’re Sally and Ben and we are Weaver Line Theatre — a London-based theatre and music company creating imaginative, story-led work for children and families.
Our work combines live music, puppetry, and theatrical storytelling to create rich, playful worlds that resonate with young audiences.
We are currently developing The Magic Sweet Jar with support from the Marlowe Theatre, and work-in-progress sharings with Arts Alive, Looping the Loop and at Hackney Central Library.
